has started and I am present!

Now and here are the answers to the questionnaire:

1. Are you a yarn snob (do you prefer higher quality and/or natural fibers)? Do you avoid Red Heart and Lion Brand?

My favorites are natural fibers like wool, linnen or silk. But a little bit of polysomething will be ok.

2. Do you spin? Crochet?

Both.

3. What do you use to store your needles/hooks in?

Great question. Till now I use some wooden boxes but I am thinking about a big vase of glass to put them in like a bouquet.

4. How long have you been knitting? Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced?

About more than 30 years, with some pauses. I think I am an intermediate knitter.

5. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list?

Amazon, you'll see a button on the left side of my blog.

6. What's your favorite scent? (for candles, bath products etc.)

Orange, cacao butter/vanilla or mango. My parfumes are "DKNY" (the white one) from Donna Karan and "Roma" from Laura Biagiotti.

7. Do you have a sweet tooth? Favorite candy?

Yes, of course. I like chocolate (no bitter) and italian ice cream.

8. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do?

Sewing, weaving, quilting and so on. I am interested in all kinds of handcraft. e.g. I build my own viking tent for living history.

9. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD)

A lot of different styles are my favorits. The last time I prefer Swing and Big Band Music. MP3s are o.k.

10. What's your favorite color? Or--do you have a color family/season/palette you prefer? Any colors you just can't stand?

All kinds of red, jeans-colours, grey, green and brown. I don't like white and yellow.

11. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets?

I fall in love with Christoph when I was 22 (now I am 41…). We have two cats.

12. Do you wear scarves, hats, mittens or ponchos?

Yes.

13. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with?

Wool, linnen, silk, merino.

14. What fibers do you absolutely *not* like?

Plastic, pure mohair.

15. What is/are your current knitting obsession/s?

Small things like socks, scarfs a.s.o.

16. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit?

Socks, scarfs, small things which I can close quick.

17. What are you knitting right now?

"Best Friend" (Sally Melville), Clapotis, Socks, Mrs. Beeton (Knitty Pattern).

18. Do you like to receive handmade gifts?

Yes.

19. Do you prefer straight or circular needles?

Circular.

20. Bamboo, aluminum, plastic?

Bamboo, wood, aluminum.

21. Do you own a yarn winder and/or swift?

Yes.

22. How did you learn to knit?

My grandmother gave me my first lesson.

23. How old is your oldest UFO?

1 year, a shawl.

24. What is your favorite animated character or a favorite animal/bird?

Cat, pig.

25. What is your favorite holiday?

Every day I get free without taking a leave day.

26. Is there anything that you collect?

Books about handcrafts, books about history, wool, scraps for patchwork, shoes.

27. What knitting magazine subscriptions do you have?

No knitting magazin but I thinking about a membership of the Rowan Club.

28. Any books, yarns, needles or patterns out there you are dying to get your hands on?

Yes, I am a sock knitter. My size is an european 41 or an american 10.
